Questions
How long does the 30K last?
About 5–6 months, or 30,000 L (8,000 gal). Then replace the whole unit.
What is the difference with the 50K?
The same technology. The 50K lasts longer and lets you replace the filter and pre-filter instead of the unit.
Will it fit my shower?
It fits standard showers, and a plastic installation wrench comes in the box.
What if the connection leaks?
Turn off the water and unscrew the filter. Wrap plumber's tape (PTFE tape) 3 to 4 times around the threads of the shower arm, in the direction the filter screws on. Screw the filter back on by hand, then give it a gentle extra turn with the plastic wrench. Do not overtighten. If it still leaks, write to info@alkanatur.co and we will help.
What if the water flow drops?
The filter may be clogged. Run water through it in the opposite direction to clean it.
